Los desastres naturales sufridos en Cuba en semanas recientes y los esfuerzos de autoridades y pobladores para resarcir los daños causados en medio de un complejo panorama económico ocupan hoy el centro de la última edición del The Havana Reporter de 2024.
A esos reportes se unen los planes gubernamentales para impulsar el turismo en 2025, declaraciones solidarias con Cuba en Estados Unidos y en las Naciones Unidas, así como en Europa, y las celebraciones en La Habana por el 505 aniversario de su fundación.
Las nuevas propuestas incluidas en la cartera de negocios de Cuba anunciada durante la Feria Internacional de la Habana, el incremento de la producción de carbón vegetal para la exportación en la provincia de Sancti Spiritus sin algunos de los temas económicos en esta edición.
Una variada propuesta cultural incluye la celebración exitosa del Festival de Ballet de La Habana, la XV edición de la Bienal de La Habana, un mural de Malcon X inaugurado en Casa de las Américas y la jornada de la cultura rusa que incluyó detalles de la película Guantanamera.

The last edition of The Havana Reporter in 2024 features the natural disasters Cuba suffered in recent weeks and the efforts authorities and the population made to recover the damages caused amidst a complex economic situation.
Government plans to foster tourism in 2025; statements of solidarity with Cuba in the United States and the United Nations and Europe, and celebrations for the 505th anniversary of the foundation of Havana, are also included in the present issue.
Some of the economic topics present in this edition are the new proposals included in Cuba’s business portfolio and announced during the holding of the Havana’s International Trade Fair, and the increase of charcoal production in the Sancti Spíritus province, addressed to export.
